Toby Simpson B.Mus, B.Ed

Toby creates a fun and relaxed environment for students of all ages to learn and grow as musicians. He’s a graduate of Humber College’s Jazz performance program and earned a Bachelor of Education from York University. He’s a patient, knowledgeable teacher with over 10 years experience.  Not only does he want his students to have the skills needed for performance, he wants them to develop a life long love of music. All of his lessons cater to the students interests and goals while keeping the most important part, to have fun!

Toby’s guitar playing has brought him all over North America. An accomplished player in many styles, he’s performed with  groups ranging from Rock, Jazz and Roots. When not teaching music he’s constantly seeking out new opportunities to learn, listen and perform.
